These type of incidents occur frequently and I'm no expert or don't follow the trial outcomes, but this was bigger than the abuse of animals in my opinion.

Don't know about everywhere, but here in Az, a first time offender can expect 1 1/2 years for a class 5 felony (which dogfighting is classified under).
