Yeah, I think it was just the general amount I had everywhere that got to be a pain. I had the tailpack, stuffed, it was tall up there... the saddlebags too, as well as my tank bag on the gas tank. It was fine for the most part, but after 2000+ miles in 4 days it got to be a pain in the ass. For future rides of the same distance I will pack less/better to be able to just use the tank bag and saddle bags or saddlebags and tailpack, not all 3.

when you pack, do you take stuff that you can just throw away instead of bring it all back with you?

you know, underclothes you are getting ready to throw out.

it also makes room for those items you pick up where you are and want to bring back.
