There's another reason why I probably couldn't do the medical thing. I doubt I could do my job without saying things that my colleagues would find humorous but probably a bit disturbing and really unprofessional

Thats the beauty of emergency medicine, most of us have a rather dark sense of humor, an dthe professional thing, well I will leave that alone.

Things are getting intresting here, I have a girl with a BS tummy ache who thinks she needs a million dollar work up, and wasnt happy to learn it aint happening tonight, so now shes trying to make herself sicker. And now the guy withthe stab wound is startin to get dramatic now that hes getting attention.

Now 2 things to observe there. If you wake up and are sick are you going to research what you may have then come to the hospital or just come to the hospital? Secondly, my social worker is talking to the stab wound, so it aint all that bad if I am not seeing him first.

Well 4 more hours to go so lets see what else can happen.
