I blame clueless soccer mom who think that an F150 with leather is a luxury car

Most likely.

Yeah - we don't see as much of that here but I've seen it in a lot of places.

Yep - the whole "bigger is better" mentality - they'll buy big F-150's because what would the neighbors think otherwise?

Yep, because over the last 10-15 years the F150 has become much more luxurious than the Ranger (at least with the high-line packages).

I am a Ranger fan. We have the Mazda version now, but before that I've had 3 other Rangers.

My husband broke this news about discontinuation to me very gently. Joe, Fiona and Captain Jack were all great trucks. I figured I would always own one. I guess not.

Would you pay 27k for a Ranger? Because many would pay 27k for an F-150 without blinking an eye.

They need to put a small diesel engine in a small pickup. Something that gets over 30mpg on the highway.

A small truck like a Ranger should be priced between $16K stripper and $25K loaded.

Of course, some people pay up to $35K for Tacomas, but only if they're a ricky retardo.

I almost bought the Nissan Fronteir a couple months back before I got the Soul. Noone could find the option package I wanted, and it was still a tad higher than I wanted to pay. It would still be kind of nice to have a small pickup though.
