No this is south of the Outerbanks.
http://www.baldheadisland.com/explore/index.aspx You take a ferry from Southport, NC to get there. NO CARS on the island. A golfcart is your ride. Me the wife and the dog for a week. Another family that we know will be there...they've gone every year for several years. I'll be taking my Nightvision toys to play around at night. |

Well I "assume" the golf carts have no headlights and I like to prowl at night.
Also there are gators in the marshlands so they may come in handy there since I like to explore...especially with my dog and I don't want him or me to get eaten. Walking on the beach at night...cool with the nightvision. I also know I will get bored since we're staying there for a week and I have no motorized vehicle and only so far to go due to it being an island...so it's just another toy. |

If hte golf carts are like the ones on the Georgia islands (despite you can drive a car there) they'll have headlights, signals, etc. Ours even have tags
