They have a VERY high standard to uphold.
Band of Brothers was outstanding.

I have been hearing late 09-early 10 for broadcast. I hope it is as good as Band of Brothers, and with the same people involved I suspect it will be.

its the same producer, director, film company etc... Possibly the same writers, and based on a different book.

that's because it was such a insane era. we have never known a world war (hopefully never will) the whole US (along with many other countries) became one big war machine.

I can't imagine what that world was like... to know nothing but war for years at a time... I mean I've been deployed... not even front lines... for several months... and feel for the army who gets stuck there for a year... but to go through what they did for YEARS... is insane.

there is a reason they call it the Greatest Generation...

That's a movie I'll be looking forward to! Hanks and Spielberg should do good again on it! Band of Brothers was awesome.
