That shit drives me crazy. I always see businesses with misplaced apostrophes and it makes me wanna scream. I post very 'informally' in the forums, but BUSINESSES?! Come on...

I'm with you guys on the spelling and grammar. My husband is worse than me. In informal places I let it slide a little, but at work I try hard to be accurate. One girl used to send emails with, "please post in your area's". It would drive me and another girl nuts, but we never had the heart to correct her. She is gone now. Oh well.
My biggest pet peeve is when you use the wrong form - like there instead of their or they're, and it's or its. |

After years of trying to battle against poor spelling and grammar on teh Interwebz, I believe the only thing that's changed is perhaps that my own spelling and grammar have become eroded.
Still, I totally agree about businesses. I find that I almost immediately lose a little confidence in a business that has one or more glaring typos, spelling mistakes, or poor wording on their web page. If it's just in a product description which is one of hundreds of items that have to kept track of, I'm a bit more forgiving. But please, if you can't accurately word and format the basic information about your company, hire someone who can.

Yes, I know it's New Zealand. It'll be here soon, if it's not here already.
