It worked really well. It is a killer program though and not for the faint of heart. It peels away the body fat like nothing else I have seen and puts on a surprising amount of muscle for being very high rep. I will probably do another round of it after the Holidays.

The high rep ranges in the P90X program are max reps for a minute so they get pretty high. I have not done a serious dedicated lifting routine in almost 8 years. I do not believe in the bodypart per day system anyway. I do a MWF full body routine with core movements and no more than 3 sets of 8 reps when I do lift regularly. That was what my strength coach in college preached and it worked for me. I have tried various split routines and none of them work as well for my own body.
