according to their specs that comes to 2.56 lbs per hp. Now I was just sitting here trying to come up with a poor boy option...I know a typical middle weight RR can be tuned into 118 hp and track prepped to 370 some odd pounds or 3.14 lbs per hp.
Someone help me find a way to get a cheapo used 600 down to 300 lbs...or cheap durable engine mods to get 145 hp in a 370 lbs chassis. Of course there is no way to duplicate the light and responsive nature of a bike weighig just 286 lbs. Or the responsiveness of a tuned 500 cc 2 stroke so I am probably better off spending my time wanking to old Jessica Biel photos huh

Here comes the flames... um can't you get a GSXR1000 down to about 370 lbs? Hp is a no brainer and I get about 85 ft/lbs of torque from mine with a slip on and PCIII. Hey better yet, what about the 750? Seriously, once you remove all the "street gear",sub frame, etc wouldn't that meet your criteria? Hey,I used to ride a RZ350 back in the day and I understand what a 2-stroke can bring to the table but....for power band,reliability,tune-ability,etc don't 4-strokes beat them hands down? |
