The problem isnt that a company can compile your internet history, they problem is that they are interpreting what it means about you for an employer. The employer probably isnt going to see what set off the red flag for the background checkers theyll just see that youve been flagged as a violent person or a racists. Someone other than the employer is making a subjective judgement about you.
