Recommend good sport riding boots...
Cyclegear's choice of $200 AlpineStars isn't impressing me too much....what else would you guys recommend under that price?

First of all, stop shopping at Cycle Gear.
I'm sure Amber Lamps has a whole list of sites to check (newenough.com, motorcyclecloseouts.com,etc.) I'm not familiar with these but for $143, they are certainly worth considering. http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street...ace_boots.html Another option is Used. A local guy is selling these Diadoras for $80.

Depends on your feet and stuff - check the ADV Flea Market for stuff, there's boots in there all the time.

I got a pair of the AXO Primato's as a back up set and ended up wearing them for an entire weekend. Pretty comfortable, and they were less than $100.

I've wondered about those boots. The price is good. Sounds like they are solid boots from what you're saying.

Is it just me, or are boot prices really dropping. It seems like I get an email every week with boot specials. I've got some A* street boots that I like. Other than the shitty velcro. I don't know what style they are
