used to do that when my buddy had a wing. the girlie would ride with him, i didn't mind.

I am lucky enough to say that, yes, my wife wouldn't mind going on the long trips with me on the bike. Of course, I do have the cadillac of bikes- an Ultra Classic HD. And as for the camping part, she's down, she did serve 5 years in the Army and spent many a week in the field with nothing but bird bath showers. I don't think that she would have a problem setting up camp and staying out over night as long as it didn't get too cold.
