I just dont think he will have the staying power that the beetles had. very few of these teen pop start have any real success afterwards and most are either the butt of jokes by their fans who grew up, or now thanx to reality tv can wind up on some show for has beens like celebrity rehab.
I wonder now if Miley Cyrus is popular because she puts out good songs or for what she does in the tabloids. |

But then you redeemed yourself with the next line. Please, dont put the greatest band ever in the same category as a talentless pop star.

Now if you'd like to argue that some of their later work was relevant, I'd probably agree with you. Of course, then you'd have to concede that the possibility exists that JB could still write extraordinary music in the future, once he has established himself. Heck, maybe he'll spend some time with the Dali Lama.... |

Anyways... A LOT of people write their own music. They just aren't on MTV. They are in your local pub, on the internet, or other venues. That's the only music I listen to anymore. Music that has nothing to do with the bullshit music "industry"

She is a clasically trained musician and plays several instruments very well. Sadly that doesn tmake you rich so she created a freaky image and writes catchy pop tunes. She took the same road as madonna, write lame songs and be just edgy/outrageous enough to keep people interested.
