This. There is a better way than a punch to the face.

A punch to the face.
90% of the time, it works every time.

It is clear that the officer was intimidated and embarrassed by the woman, which makes him pathetic as a man and even more so as an officer of the law. I mean really dude? Can we give these guys a basic Jiu Jitsu class or something?
That said, the woman had some force coming either way, so I don't feel bad for her and wouldn't cheer her on in a lawsuit or anything. Really bitch, pushing a cop with both arms like that? Should've listened to your friends dumbass.

he was instinctively reacting to being pushed. He probably should 'retrain' his instincts - it's his job - but in this case...for christ's sake, the fact that he didn't keep punching her shows great restraint on his part! The fact that she's 17 or black wasn't ANY part of the equation - the officer was instinctively reacting to a physical altercation.
There's rumors of a (civilian) gun being on the scene as well - we'll see what comes of that.

It's so sad when we view a grown and trained man punching a woman in the face as "showing great restraint."

You know I just thought of another thing.......Right or wrong, it's about time some women realized that just because they're "the fairer sex" doesn't give them the right to challenge cops in ways that a man would never get away with. If a man got all up in a cops face, arguing with him and shit, it'd be seen as a "threat" and he would get cuffed. But a woman can do the same and nothing happens because "oh that's just how women are, they're emotional"

I bet Jessie and Sharpton creamed their pants when they saw this video. Taking bets on who makes the first public statement.
"Please stop boss". Haha, I bet someone has recieved an ass kicking from the police before. Crazy bitch got it easy. Imagine if someone like me (225lb white guy) tried that shit. My mother fucking ass would be full of vent holes or if I"m lucky just a tasering and face slammed on the ground. And the cop is on MLK and the worst crime they have there is Jaywalking? Shit, I won't dare step foot on MLK here in Atlanta so obviously the police have done a fine job there.

Justified BUT the officers needs to go back to the academy. It took him WAY to long to get her under control, he lost his situational awareness and had no control.
We have borderline midget obese slobs on NYPD and they could get that girl cuffed quicker WHILE calling for backup (taser free thank you). |
