No, its not.
Lemme see, I cant use my legs, Im paralyzed but I dont want to stop riding. My legs are too weak to hold up an 800 lb bike? What are my options? a)Not Ride b)put training wheels on an SB (which is STILL technically a trike) c)or get a real trike that I can still travel on and see the countryside |

I think people should be able to ride what every they want to spend their money on. Trikes are not motorcycles, they are trikes and most trike riders know that. I do not think I would ever choose to ride one but I will never judge anyone that does.

I will never forget listening to Dr. Laura explaining her reasons for having a trike and not a motorcycle.
At one point in her life she had a Honda Rebel. From what she said it was obvious she was very inexperienced. She hit some gravel and crashed. So now she has a trike because it's 'safer.' Other than not falling over on their own, there is nothing safer about a trike from what I can see, you are still exposed to the elements. If she had learned how to ride the damn motorcycle in the first place she probably would not have crashed. Just another example of how people justify things in their minds rather than accepting the responsibility that they screwed up. Last edited by MILK; 11-17-2009 at 02:44 PM.. |
