I don't have a problem with someone legitmately (sp?) passing me, but I do have a problem with someone passing me illegally and/or presenting a danger to me, like in Lucky's original post

I'd always wondered myself how people managed to knock mirrors loose...with my luck, I'd knock myself off the darn bike...

Lee, the wiring harness held the mirror on....but that was definitely not in my train of thought at the time.
However, fear of damaging an innocent person's car is why I don't throw ball bearings. The last time I did it a few years ago one of the bearings clearly bounced off the windshield and landed behind the offending vehicle. Didn't hurt anyone's car, but only because I was lucky enough there was nobody back there. My new bike isn't really fast enough to guarantee I can outrun every car on the road so I have to be a bit more timid. ________ Bmw 802 Last edited by Kaneman; 05-09-2011 at 09:15 PM.. |

Arguing with a 4-wheeler is something that you'll never win. I find that a cell phone gives satisfaction, though it may be of the delayed sort.

1.) I've never lost an "argument" with any cage I've decided needed a shiny new dent or to donate a mirror to the highway department. Always have an escape route. 2.) Don't believe in calling the police. Completely pointless and a waste of my minutes. ________ Rhode island marijuana dispensaries Last edited by Kaneman; 05-09-2011 at 09:16 PM.. |
