He's got a few books out there that are a collection of short stories, and they tend to be among his best. Nightmares and Dreamscapes, Hearts in Atlantis, Skeleton Crew, Night Shift, and Everything's Eventual are all great collections of stories, with Nightmares and Dreamscapes and Night shift being my favorites, though Everything's Eventual has Little Sister's of Eluria, which is a nice side tale of Roland Deschain.

Have you listened to Eragon yet?
I was going to suggest Angels&Demons as well, but LauraLynne beat me to it, and you've already been acquainted! I've heard great things about Pillars of the Earth - it's a long one though... 38-40 hrs or so.

On my way down to Keesler from Grand Forks I went through the first book of the Dark Tower series, then killed the second and third one on subsequent trips.
