That's one hell of a demonstration they pulled together. I didn't see mention in the article (granted I only have time to skim it) about one of the major catalysts for the demonstration: making it illegal to operate a bike in France w/ >100hp.

For years, there was a handshake agreement with manufacturers to voluntarily limit bikes to 100 BHP. A 100 HP cut-off would largely eliminate anything 600cc+.

Oh I think they are more than familar with humiliation...However good on them for demonstrating for their rights...Something alot of Americans are just too damn lazy to do.
