MotoGP 09/10 Xbox 360
Is anyone planning on buying this game? I'm considering it. It would be cool to race w/some forum people, as none of my gaming friends are into bikes.

I'm going to keep an eye on reviews to see if it's any good. I liked the older versions. There's a huge learning curve though. You can't play those games like you place car racing games.

It's not looking good on IGN.com. Here is the summary for the UK version, which typically the same score the US version will get:
IGN UK Ratings for MotoGP 09/10 (X360) 6.5 Presentation Menus may be generally slick, but in career mode they're a barely functional mess. 6.5 Graphics Over two years on and Climax's games still have the edge, though to its credit Monumental manages to inject some character into potentially bland surrounds. 6.0 Sound Bikes sound disappointingly thin across the board, but the licensed soundtrack gives the races some spark. 6.5 Gameplay Handling is approachable and solid, if ultimately not that thrilling, but the racing itself is exciting. 7.5 Lasting Appeal It may be artificially drawn out, but with the added content in the pipeline MotoGP 09/10 is at least a lasting proposition. 6.7 OVERALL (out of 10) |

The MotoGP games almost universally SUCK.
The "ride" just doesn't "feel" right....not realistic at all. No other motorcycle game has come as close to getting it "right" as Tourist Trophy did....I STILL play the hell out of that game on my PS2. |

I picked up mx vs atv Reflex a while ago and have been playing the crap out of it. It's tough and kind of frustrating getting used to the reflex controls, but it's a blast.

It's difficult to get people into a MX or SX race though. And then the second you hit em or get out front with 1 lap to go, they quit n cancel the race like a bunch of crybabies. That's why I LOVE CODMW 2. If someone can't hang, they just relocate the game to another host midgame. |

I don't really have a problem finding races online. Sometimes it can take a while, but it's not that bad.
I try playing MW2 and make it about 6 steps before I get killed. I usually wind up with a 3 kill to 20 death ratio |
