Default Stupid Questions You Hear

How many other people hear the question "Ride your bike today?" when someone sees you walking in, wearing a riding jacket and carrying your helmet?

What other similar questions or comments do you hear?

my other favorite is what do you do if its raining, I tell them I get wet and that keeps em thinking for a minnute so i can make my getaway.

I can best you on that one - I work with engineers from Bangalore and the UK. It's twice the amount of stupid.

I get the "You have a motorcycle?!?"

My most recent response is, "No, my SR-71 is parked outside right now."

That gets the gears turning (since a lot of people apparently no longer know what an SR-71 is) and while they're thinking I walk away.

Let's see....

It's 107 degrees outside, when they see me in full gear - "Aren't you hot in that?" Answer: "I was HOT before I put it on and I'd like to stay that way."

When they find out I ride at the track, usually high school band parents - "OMG isn't that DANGEROUS??!?!" Answer: "Have you been on IH35 lately? Because driving at 90 next to a 16-year-old texting to her best friend in mom's minivan isn't dangerous."
