2006 ktm 625 smc
The arrival of the Ape necessitates the sale of the SMC. Here are the details:
2006 KTM SMC, second owner. 5380 miles New Pirelli Diablo Strada rear tire Typical SMC modifications; throttle stop removed, JD jet kit, charcoal cannister removed, 16 t front sprocket, gutted exhaust cannisters, and rear fender removal and signal integration. Valves were checked / adjusted at 4500 miles most recently. Corbin custom seat, which is a must for these bikes. Bike is flawless, and runs great. I live in the NW Atlanta area, and will meet the buyer within reasonable distance, but I will NOT ship the bike. Asking price is $5000. If interested, post or PM me and I will send you my phone number and / or e-mail. Pics below...

I don't want to offend you but when you fall into the $4000 range, I may be interested and would meet you at or on the way to the rally. Thanks.

No offense taken. If I still have the bike, I would be more than happy to let you look at it on your way up. Shoot me a PM or post if you want to take a look.

Back on the market
Well, as I sit in a hospital bed after back surgery, I realize that I now have to sell the pumpkin. Everything is the same as the original post, with the exception of a few more miles. I have to have $4500, no more, no less. Given my physical condition, I can't ship the bike and it will have to be picked up. This is a great bike for someone in the market for a SM. PM if you want to speak personally. Thanks for looking.

Thanks. I will get them re-linked. They are on the ktmtalk server and they are forum Nazis.

Pics are up. Pain killers are a powerful drug!
When pictured, the bike had a Kouba lowering link. Since the pics, the stock link was reinstalled, which brings the bike back to its stock geometry. The Corbin seat reduces seat height by over an inch, so short guys have nothing to fear. If anyone has interest, PM me. I have nothing going on for the next few weeks, so I would love to talk bikes. Thanks for looking. Mark
