The Chinese: Always trying to out do us, even when it comes to spilling oil.
Some pretty crazy photos, they have workers trying to scoop oil out of the water by hand.

Um, masks? Oil vapors aren't exactly healthy, especially when it is burning.

The good news, there wasn't any viable life in those waters anyway...
Masks?? Who uses masks on that side of the world for anything? This is a worker cutting apart a prop in Singapore... like his "mask?

The rest of the world is VERY far behind us when it comes to work environment, health and safety. But their labor is also VERY cheap. Aside from technology, I'd be willing to bet most of the world as where we were back in the 20's and 30's.

Japan knows how to breed robots. Europe had the union work ethic centuries before unions came over here. Double and triple pay for consecutive weekends and overtime, regular smoke and coffee breaks, two beer lunches, guaranteed raises and holidays...
