Sterilgarda for MotoGP? He is going to Tech 3 next season. Why isn't he riding for them this race? They won't run 3 bikes? Sterilgarda has him under contract still? WSBK season is over so I'd think he is done with them contractually.

Because they offered him the ride. Would you say no to ride for the people that gave you the ride that won the WSBK title.

Of course not. So is that a Tech 3 bike with Sterilgarda paint? I can't imagine they would invest in building a bike for a one off deal.

Yes that is actually a 3rd Tech 3 bike. His WSBK sponsor is primarily picking up the tab for this race.
