Temporal Anomalies in Time Travel Movies

The guy who wrote that whole thing is a smart person, but fails in the fact that he cannot think past the idea that the present must happen before the future happens and comes back to change the present.

He misses one big point for all those movies, and I will use the Terminator to state my case.

The author believes that Sarah must give birth to John Connor without Reese coming back to be Johns father, then the author says that john must live his life up to the point where skynet send the 1st terminator back to kill his mother. John then sends Reese back to protect her and (as the author guesses, John accidently interviens in his own past by changing who his father is.

The Author is dead wrong, first off John is born 1984, then in 2018 he sends his father back to protect his mother. Weather he realises this or not his existence is dependant on him sending his father back to impregnate his mother, which happens, the way the future remembers history.

Anyway, his guy keeps following a single and possibly flawed theory time must happen before it can change, and not that the present is dependant on the future happening.
