Another fallen rider...
Another rider was killed at the Gap today and unfortunately it happened to be one of the most helpful and most passionate riders on my bike specific forum. He was only 22 and loved riding. The board was doing their yearly gap meet and him and one of the admins actually were doing an iron butt to get there. They made it and sadly the admin will now be riding home solo.
http://www.yzf600r.com/phpBB2/viewto...st=0&sk=t&sd=a According to the tailofthedragon.com, its the third rider this year to get killed in that specific corner. Quote:
RIP Ash |

Very sad indeed.... I knew Ashwin from chicagolandsportbikes for a couple of years now, he was a super nice guy.
Always hate hearing stories like this.... RIP Ashwin My prayers and sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.... For the guys on the yzf600r forum.... isn't this the the 2nd time there's been a fatality at the annual GAP trip?? Greg (polystigma) is a local friend and riding buddy of mine, and also on the yzf forum, and I'm pretty sure I remember him telling me about several years back when he was there on the annual ride, somebody else got killed. If so... man that's rough!

If it is the first 10mph left hander after you cross the bridge heading towards the Hellbender, Memphis lost one of their best riders there a few years ago. Very dangerous corner that I always warn people about. For once, when they say 10mph they mean it. So sad to hear. Always hate to lose one but 22 is so young. RIP
