500 mile beer run
This past friday my friend chris and I decided to do a roadtrip but needed a destination. A coworker told me about the waschuseet brewery up in Mass so i figured we could take a ride there and get some beer for tommypalooza
We left NY around 7am and hit the taconic and hammered it up to albany then headed east into Mass. We went down the mohawk trail which was fun aside from some slow traffic and a few well placed cops, but no tickets so thats a win. we then headed further east to the brewery but stopped at a place called the mill for lunch. Real nice place right on the lake with a deck to eat on. We then went up the road to the brewery and got to do a 20 minute tour. prety cool stuff and we got to sameple some of the beer. I realy liked their IPA, I also saw a porter and nut brown ale so I figured I would buy them too. So I bought a growler 2 6pks and a t-shirt and had to figure out how to get it all home. The growler can stand up in the rear par tof my hard bags and put most of hte beer in the other one and 2 bottles in my tank bag. Then we had the 200 mile treck home so we hit the highway and figured we had an excuse to speed since we needed to keep our beer cold My growler was still kind acool when I got home and had some that night. The porter was kind of eh and havent tried the nut brown yet. So that was my day |

Seem to be a few on the site that share that mindset.
