Not to mention the absolute best traction control electronics available too....no way under the sun they could ride like that without the computer modulating power to the rear wheel as necessary to control spin. You see them on corner exit just WHACKING the throttle open...on a 250 HP+ machine....I believe 75% of the grid would be grippled in 3 races or less if they were to go back to pure 500cc two stroke race bikes tomorrow...electronics has taken the place of throttle control to a large degree in MotoGP.

I've actually been over far enough to scrape my lowers and frame sliders w/o laying it down.

althought i was most certainly refering to my own 90* adventures into guard rails.

You ever looked at the profile of the GP tires? It's fucking sick! The only reason why they can't lean more is because they can't possibly tuck their knees up against the bike anymore. I love those extreme angles, they often end up on my computer's background.

there comes a point, where if you're spending a buck in a turn and dedicate 90 cents to your lean angle that only leaves 10 cents for acceleration and traction. you can only get the wheel to do so much with a tire before physics stop being your friend and start making you cry.

but yea, on that note, bridgestone hires wizzards cause their tires are magic.
