...you kinda know the person in the pics you are viewing? perhaps not personally, but maybe via internet forum/friendly acquaintance or such? just curious where one draws the line. one person's playmate is another person's wife/sister/mother...etc.

my husband has no problem viewing naked women but seems to have an issue if the pics are of myself for others' viewing pleasure. sounds like a double-standard. am i wrong? it's not like there is any physical intimacy taking place. i don't get it.

As long as those "others" aren't people that you or him deal with on a daily basis I don't see real problems with it.
Now if the pics were going to your coworkers or his friends etc, then I could see his hesitation.

Porn is anonymous. Therefore there's no personal feelings involved - it's purely for gratification on a carnal level, free of emotion. If you know the people in the pics on some level, then it removes that anonymity and takes it to a more personal level, which kinda crosses a line.

Obviously those pictures are of single women, or of women who's husband's do not care..

I don't see that as a double standard at all.
