How did they verify that they were euthanized? That's what the whistleblower said, but how is it verifiable?

I would think the director's reaction pretty much confirms it.

It was within the hour, so unless the dogs were adopted out in that time, they would still be there and the cameras would have been allowed back to the kennel area.

Isn't it more the duty of the shelter to prove that they haven't been, given that they accept money based solely on that claim? Where's the paperwork on the animals, that suddenly disappeared from the shelter? They were witnessed by the investigative reporters, not merely mentioned by the whistle-blower.
