Default Any small CC engine guys here?

Found a guy that has a bunch of horizontal engines and parts. Im tired of messing with tue stock 70cc engine and was wanting to find say a 125cc engine or something. Ive read GPX engines are good. Lifan seems to be fine, just like anything you take care of it and it should last.

Any ideas or helpful hints.

This is what its going in.

Tighten every god damn bolt and use as much loctite as possible. After you do that, I have heard China engines run pretty good.

You can't beat the reliability of getting a TBParts kit for that 70 though. Bump it up to an 88 and it will be a lot better.

Ive already rebuilt the engine and pretty much new everything. Everything adjusted correctly. My main problem fueling. I can get it to run for a coue minutes then itll bog down to nothing anf fuel will just start pouring out of tye vent tube. Ive farted with 4 different carbs and jets.

GPX and Lifan are the only Chinese brands I'd trust. Unfortunately, Last I checked, some of there better engines were getting pretty pricey. Like over $1k pricey.

If you wanted to stick with a stock Honda motor, look for an old ATC engine. They had an ATC 90 and a 110 that both used the horizontal engine.

One is chinese and the others are hondas from varies bikes.

Also tue tyrottle cable doesnt always control the throttle, itll just go full speed and ai have to control it with the choke lever. I hate tyese slide carbs.

The only engines in that range are daytonas. Everything else is $300-$600.

For $300 I'd take a chance.

$600 could buy a lot of Honda parts.

Just using stock parts to fix your engine is a lot different than buying a stroker kit from these guys
