Ever met your hero?
Like, have you ever met that ONE person on your list that you would drop most anything for. Meaning, the person (or people) that are your idol(s)?
I got an email from mine. I get chills everytime I think about it. He now has my cell phone number and told me (via email) he's going to call me this week.... I'ma dieing here!!?!??! So, tell me... did your meeting live up to expectations?

wow, i thought about this for a second and realized i dont really have a hero. I take a lot of good qualities from people and try to live up to them, but i really cant say theres one person whom which i idolize. Im thinking i may be the exception, but i donno really.

my hero? i would kill to meet my grandfather...
He joined the navy from 1933-1939 to get out of the depression, he was a radio guy. He was drafted in 1941 by the U.S. Army at age 29 and served with the 4th ranger battalion in north africa, sicily, and at Anzio beach in Italy...where he was shot in the butt...like forest gump....once his Ranger battalion was anhililated he was taken in by the 1st Special Service Group (The Devils Brigade)....landed in southern France and fought the rest of WWII. Was stationed in Germany after the war where he met my grandma (who was in the army too). Then when the army and airforce split the airforce took him because he was a radio guy and served with the Airforce on a A-20 attack aircraft during the Korean war. He then retired after 22 years of service in the Navy, Army, and Airforce.... def my hero...to bad I won't ever get a chance to meet him for a while
