Half helmet review - AGV Dragon
I just bought me a half helmet (AVG Dragon, Size Large) to wear when I ride around the blocks and down the streets. Not intending of hitting the freeway or riding the twisties with it. For an Italian jobber and the low price, it ain't too bad. Good paint job. Liner seems to be well made with that pretty red thread accentuation. I only took it up to 60-MPH but it's a very quiet helmet (more cushion/sound insulation around the ears than a typical full face helmet) and aerodynamics seem to be pretty nice - no buffeting.
It's kinda funky to have air flowing around my lower face and eyes again. It's been ages since I wore half-helmets. My only gripe is that the helmet doesn't have vents for top of the head, so in the summer, your face will be cool but your head will be hotter than hell. I don't know what the rationale is for not having vents for the head. All in all, I consider this purchase to be money well spent.

That's because you don't have a scooter.

My first thought upon seeing it was "I wonder if you can wear it backwards?" like the one pic of that chick on a scooter...

The helmet makes me want to go buy a black KTM motard and strap a submachine gun to my chest.
