Rally Support
Hey just wanted to give a big thanks to Eclipse Luggage... each of us rally attendees received a cargo net... and Little Taz won a magnetic tank bag.
VERY COOL! I know where my tank bag purchase will be done at. (actually may replace all my bags... as they're falling apart) |

I have the Cortech bags... and after two long trips (indy and the rally) they're falling apart. both saddle bags have rips in the rain covers... LARGE rips... they act like sponges when wet... the seams on the attaching straps have broken twice (rae fixed one at her place on the Indy trip... so 4 days of use)... the zipper tab (the part you pull on) comes off on one zipper constantly... the setup to cinch down your bags when you get it on your bike is retarded... you have to fit it... take it off... un-clip everything and adjust then try again.
The tail bag is nice... no problems there... but the saddle bags suck balls. the only good thing I have to say about them is when it's time to remove them... unclip the front two clips... and the rear two... and lift. everything came off in one unit. but I'd rather have something that was more stable, held more, didn't absorb every bit of moisture in the air, and didn't leave me worry'n about seams on the straps busting. |
