33 years ago today, the Edmund Fitzgerald disappeared beneath the angry fury of the Great Lake, Superior...Not many will understand, but some know the significance of this story. Interesting if nothing more.

Ah,you mountain types will drink to ANYTHING!!! Btw former Michigander,it was a horrible tragedy! I was just a kid but I vaguely remember when it happened. Ford was President and as a Mi. native made a rather sincere and moving speech at the memorial.

I do agree though it was a tradgey. It's always sad when someone dosen't come home no matter what the cause. Trust me it's a horrbile thing to have 2cops show up at your door and shatter your life.
