Sorry, missing smilies... I'm being partly facetious because the racing circuit in the US isn't the *big boys* anymore. Personally, I'd rather watch WSBK or supersport, MotoGP 125, 250...

And, I've never weighed a purchase of a motorcycle on something that *wins* any race. The machine is a factor, but the rider is a higher factor in the race. That, and the machine raced is nothing like those in production.

It's still our home series. Interest shown in AMA racing leads to MotoGP coming to Laguna, which leads to the addition of a second US date, which leads to WSBK returning to the US. I like it all. I'd rather watch a motorcycle race over a football or baseball game and day. I wish we could get BSBK races aired here too. Canadian Superbike series too.

I'm going to recommend you do a few things... download from www.bittorrent.com - then goto www.racing-underground.com and download the races to your heart's content.

AMA Pro Racing has just been sold: http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Mar/080307z.htm That would be to NASCAR. I don't see how that is a good thing, though maybe with the big machine it would break it farther into other markets. Or, maybe it will crush it with roundy-round ideals.

AMA not having rules to allow for manufacturers like Ducati IMHO kill their involvement and make the Euros not want to do more here. They didn't care much about the circuits here... and with winning titles with bigger fish, why would they care?

Yep, have bit torrent and have dl'ed races in the past. I just wich I could flip on the TV and catch it though.

And for the other, yeah the management has F'ed up a lot, but I'm not going to take out their mistakes on the riders by not watching and not giving my favorites the support they deserve.

I joined ebbs' thing on motogp manager... I'm a little late, but figure I could still potentially catch up.

I am downloading the Qatar race right now, I still haven't had a chance to see it... and have been avoiding the spoiler thread like the plague

I noticed a few people scored no points due to not having a complete team... Nope, you can't buy Rossi & Stoner and a bike w/ no team Must have a complete lineup- 2 riders, bike, team.
