I've thought about it, but that would definitely hurt my hanging-off abilities, and the seat-to-clipon distance would still be too short. I don't like having my hands right next to my knees.

The only problem with my bike is its not a true 800. I cry at night because of it.


COME ON 7TH GEN with yo 1000cc V4 and gear cams and get rid of the useless vtec. Make daddy happy.

Seems you guys are picking new bikes so I'll just be different


I'll be taking the maroon '74 H1 500 that looks like this now


and making it look more like this one



I purchased an original body set


I also have a set of ported cylinders, brand new wiseco piston set, a good crank and plenty of nice chrome pieces.

OK, you talked me into it One of the guys on the triple forum just got an '83 ELR and he loves it. He said it hit 140 without even trying



Money wise, I already have the '74 H1 500 and pretty much everything to completely restore it.

the rc211v had a v5 since they moved to 800 the rc212v has 4. Honda was the only manufacturer pushing a five. Ducati and suzuki run v4s kawi and yamaha run inline fours with crossplane cranks and when they still competed aprilia ran a triple
