your playing to a slightly track focused crowd... but there have been a couple winners that weren't track shots...

Thing about track shots is they're always cool shots... it's harder to find/make a compareable shot that the average member is gonna like.

take last month... mine was EASILY the best picture.... everyone elses sucked... but two were on the track so they they were cool... and well as epic as my shot was... it wasn't good enough to over come the cheap thrill of drag'n a knee on a motard...

Yeah Big Nahuna Wasnt a Track SHot but he had Hayden Street Sign in the Picture...Again Track Related.

I'm not mad though Maybe One day Ill get there.

Thing about POTM is To me it should be YOU taking the picture not...Kinda hard to take pictures of yourself at a trackday...Therefor id get more satisfaction out of POTM if every winner actuallly took the photo submitted

ehh naw... this is just a photo contest... not a photography contest... in otherwords it's not a who can take the best photo... but who's got the best photo... you have to have rights to it... so either you took it or your in it, and got rights from the author.

again... this is a motorcycle forum... not a photography forum ya know? there are a few of us here though that dabble in photography.

the thing to remember these are going on the front page... so as artistic as your shot of the headlight was... it got the "cool shot" reaction from me... but not something I'd put on the front page as it doesn't represent the forum IMO...

That's how I vote... you've definatly got tallent... but it's just hard to beat a track shot for the front page of our forum

but I may just have to take some intresting ones here in Korea of motorcycles to submit...

well if I saw one wheelie here it'd be cool... but as 1. I don't have my camera yet... DAMN IT! and 2. most of them are ridden by 60 year old men and they have 10000lbs of shit on the back... I'm not likely to see it...

then again... with that much weight... it's supprising they're not wheelie'n 24/7
