All I need is that, and a warm, quiet place to plug in my Stratocaster, and I'm pretty fucking sure I'd live happily ever after.

Then the weight would finally leaven, and my life at last be heaven.

While I wouldn't call 2010 a disaster, I'm certainly looking forward to 2011.
Can't help you with the new honey. But Austin is like California without the cost of living and quite a few normal people to balance out the country good-ol'-boys and the hippies. And the music scene here? Pretty darn good...

But then I might be a little biased.

I'd say if any forum or FB is what ended a relationship, then it's had much bigger problems... We're not that invested in this place - we are more like occasional visitors....

Cool, then you won't mind quitting the forum for the sake of your relationship. I could always tell by your posts that you were a reasonable person, bravo.

Whew, Ty you definitely dodged a bullet there....should be smooth sailing now! It'll be great not having to worry about everything you post because your SO might read it and take offense.

I detect the bitter taste of loss, peppered with an unreasonable paranoia.

I'm thinking a Merlot would go with this.

I already don't.

It's obvious we don't share the type of relationships with our significant others. We can all tell you don't dare let your girl on here because you'd care what she thought. However not only do I not care what she see's me post, I get to be much more profound in person when I tell her what I'm posting as she sits 10ft away.

Ah 2010 was so so, woulda been alot better if I had been working all yr vs the last 5 mos.

ESP. Considering I've been on O/T at the "new" job, so even though I took a pay cut from the last job o/t has overcome that. Next yr looks like it's gonna be another good yr for o&g though I think it's really gonna suck for consumers of gas goes over $4/gal

Z is looking for a new job w her new degree since her current employer can't place her even though they paid for it

Kids are getting bigger and smarter, and are a load of fun

2011 looks to be alot better yr, hopefully

Z is starting look for a new job w/ her new degree since het current place t

It was good and bad.
Spent the first half overseas, but got to come back for my grandmothers funeral.
Came back to the states, but spent the first month back away from home for a school.
Had an awesome hunting season and got to watch my pup really start to click out in the field.
Didn't get to ride as much as I wanted.
Got a new (to me) pickup, but diesel is F'ing expensive.
Got engaged, but can't decide on a date with all the "up in the air's" in our lives right now.
Have a great, secure, low stress, good benefits job, but it doesn't pay enough.

All in all, I have my health, my family, and my friends. As much as one may want more, that is all that is truly needed in life.
