That is the point. With the GSXR, ZX, CBR and YZF, you have a choice of a 600 or 1000. Triumph does not offer that choice, and that is why people say it would be awesome with a bigger motor.

A 1050 motor in that would be awesome.

Not true, the GSX-R600 and 750 are identical with the exception of cc's

A choice yes but not the same bike.

The probelm as I see it is that Triumph doesn't have the R&D budget to design a full on superbike capable of competing with the big 4.

Anything less would be a Sprint with less comfort.

No they didn't.

The 955 and earlier Daytona's were their own breed of street-sport.

Since the 675 was introduced they have stepped into the realm of track-built bike with lights.
