Good luck dude.
I've never done a track day and won't on this bike. It's a cruiser, I don't really need to. |

If you were a little further north, I would suggest that you check out FAST. Not only do they provide the bike, gear, and ex-pro racer instruction (I've had more than a few from NY, NC, and SC in my classes), but they occasionally run an advanced riding school for cruisers.

Appreciate it guys.
I have high hopes based on things that have been said to me by various racers and instructors. This winter is already going VERY slowly.... can't wait

If you do, you're going to be pulling an NtS pretty soon.

I have done a lot of trackdays, too many to count. Started club racing in 2000 and became an instructor for Ride Smart for about two-three years. I got out of racing so that my son can start racing... still go to trackdays though, but I don't ride... I'm more of a off track private instructor/mechanic/cook and driver for him.
I did borrow a bike a few months ago and did some riding with Elite Trackdays... Damn I miss being on the track. |

I raced for 5 years so most of my track days were sanctioned, but I did one "Club" track day after the race season ended.
That was a smart move as it turned out. I had to build another race bike after that day, in the 8 weeks before the next season started. I haven't been on a track in 10 years but made the mistake of going to watch and help a buddy a few times in the past year. Sort of started a low grade itch... |
