[QUOTE=Amber Lamps;434904]I personally draw the line at home defense. Break into my house and you'll be carried out-guaranteed. Walking the streets Wyatt Earp style isn't for me. Personal preference only, not judging those too weak to defend themselves without a weapon (Amorok, Gasman, Razor...)QUOTE]
Its not neccessarily weak or lazy... I'd prefer not to have to shoot anyone ever but the concealed piece is for that situation where I dont have a choice to go toe to toe with someone equal to my size or abilities... I'd rather knuckle dust someone or have them beat my ass rather than kill them but if I thought they would take it farther than just an ass kickin, well there is your one time... just sayin...

we have to case the gun in a vehicle, no gun racks. must be unloaded if your deer hunting and lean the gun against the tailgate of the truck, your getting an illegal carry ticket. case must completely enclose the gun and be "sealable" ie: zippered, tied, buttoned etc there are more. |

Oh yeah... I looked up the WI gun laws. They are stupid! Couldn't wait to enter the U.P. on the other side of green bay so I could holster up again.

Wow, crazy story. Great composure.
I've had a home invasion that was stopped with the sound of a shotgun [OK and me yelling at them to get the fuck out]. And, I now love the fact that my dog would defend me with everything in her. Yesterday a guy came to my house to work on my cable. He was a contractor of Time Warner. My usually passive 14-year-old black lab did NOT like him at all. So, he didn't come much farther into my home than the front entry. She didn't leave my side, and would NOT let him come near me. He needed to put the paperwork on the floor and walk away to get me to sign it. I love her. I've come to trust her instincts, as she clearly knew something I didn't.

He's thinking, "Dumb bitch. Put your stupid ass dog up." That shit irritates me when people just let their dogs act like retards. If I was him, I would have said, "Either put your dog up or I leave." |
