Ok so you guys are calling everyone douchebags for what kind of clothes they buy when you are paying as much or more attention to their clothes than they are. Who is the d-bag again?

How am I paying more attention to their clothes than they are? They're the ones who sought out and purchased it, I'm simply forced to see it when they walk past me. If you see 20-30 people a day wearing the same logo, you're going to notice.

But since you asked, no it isn't douche-like for a Jets fan or Bulls fan to wear a jersey if they are a serious fan, even if they've never played the sport themselves.........But they ARE a douche if they're wearing it just for the image, which is the reason SOME people wear Raiders jerseys, chopper shirts, and MMA stuff.

I'll agree with you for most of the chopper stuff. MMA is weird though. Their fans are more of a cult-like following. Incredible, really. Granted, there are still some people who buy it just for the logo, but i think most are fans of the sport.

Eh....the average hockey fan is more authentic, IMO.

I know a couple guys who just started watching MMA about a year ago just because it was on at a friends' house, now all of a sudden they are a fan and start wearing their stuff because it looks "hard". ....... They don't really know about the fighting styles, just who the fighters are and all the personality soap opera nonsense.

I wish I could get into hockey. I always enjoy watching it, but it is never on tv on a regular basis.
