Wish we had some good brisket places around here. All the ones we have that make decent brisket are chains for the most part. Brisket just isn't big around here. Pork is the BBQ of choice in these parts and I am not a big fan of pork, much rather brisket. I do tend to like the south carolina mustard sauce and sweet sauces better in this region though. shitville white sauce is interesting on chicken. Vinegar sauces around here are good at some of the local spots.

I wish I could get a McRib for lunch, it would actually be a huge step up from the food that is available on site if I forget to bring lunch. We just don't have time to go out for lunch because the nearest restaurant is 15 mins from the plant and we only get 30 mins. They let us out on fridays though.

Granted the grade of meat and the number of fillers might turn you off, but at least McDonalds uses a quality control process.........Street vendors don't.

In other words, at least you know what's in McDonalds food, and they can document it. Not so with a street vendor.
