Ah, ok. I'd seen those but didn't realize that's how it worked.

So I went on a buying spree this weekend; got a 5.45 M&P upper (since all surplus 5.45 is corrosive I'm going to wait for my New Frontier polymer lowers to come in before shooting it, no way I'm putting any of that stuff through my KAC lower) 4,000 rounds of 5.45, M&P Shield (I think I'm really going to like this gun), and an M&P 15-22 though not the Magpul edition I wanted to get.

I would be interested in hearing how either of these run for you guys. A while ago I sold my Bulgy 74 . Like the round in general and the ammo is cheap.

You guys thinking about buying a 5.45, might want to look into getting your ammo now if you haven't already. AIM, and ammunition to go are out, Wideners says they're limited on hand, and SGammo is down to 6 full cases.

I don't know if they could have stocked up enough. I've heard stories of one person buying 77,000 rounds. Thats the bad thing about cheap surplus. After its gone, its gone.

Maybe if Romney wins most of it will go back on the market at cut rate prices as people try to recoup some of their money.
