Seriously? Why should anyone go through life expecting to avoid being offended once in a while?

Yeah, it's bad PR for the US military, and kudos to the company for providing a solution in this instance, but who cares that the guy put the references on there in the first place?

I find it ironic that the company owner slapped ninja bible stuff on its stuff but they have been doing it for years and they happened to pick up a contract on government cheese.
I agree that it is inapropriate to field this equipemnt as is due wack-ackery of what our role is over yonder.

Many people do, including certain people in the military, which is why this story made the news

Do I care, personally? No, but I'm not sure why some of you don't understand why others do.

If it is coded on as a serial number then it is doubtful any muslims would have the intuition to be offended. The military should have kept their mouth shut and gone on about there business perhaps asking the manufacturer to stop the practice. Use some discretion and stop making military intelligence an oxymoron.

If you gave one of those sights to a Taliban soldier he wouldnt think twice about being offended by the serial numbers inference to an infidel god, he would use it to kill Marines.

we should do like the Marine saying, introducing muslims to Allah is our business, business is good.

We can't have religion during war but its ok to send people (missionaries) off around the world to try and forcing their religion onto the natives of that area.
