No, not really. I was just poking fun at the way expecting mamas always relate what they're talking about to their pregnancy.
Light heartedly of course. |

Ya, we dont use that silly farheinheit system. Last night is was only 5 degrees though. I was drinking with my cousins band, and we were froze, we had to make a fire in july to keep warm. That, and drinking whiskey warmed 3 of us up.

I love this topic.... its just great. It hits home too easily.
I'm 6'1 and 295 pounds. I'm your a-typical "big man" of my group of friends. (kind of like having your token black friend, lol). But it pisses me off to no end when people assume things. Yea i guess that is what our socety is built off of, first judgement right? Hey, your big so you must want some cake right? Hey your big so here, have my extra food, im full. And the excuse thing posted earlier is only partly true. I play competitive hockey for 3/4 of the year, and I've won 2 city, and 1 regional championship. I run, go to the gym, and play a myriad of other intermural sports, and eat rather healthy. What separates me from my friends is... i have no metabolism. None. I have 3 friends that do nothing but smoke a pack a day, eat fast food twice a day, and dont know what exercize is. And they still weigh 150 pounds! Fuck that. I'm just built big, and unfortunatly im going to be that way most of my life. I may be able to control my body fat %, but i will never be skinny. My mom says im cursed with my dads genetics, thighs like tree trunks!

Most people with thyroid problems, cant gain weight because their body produces too much metabolic chemicals (thyroxine or T4 and triiodothyronine, or T3). The one in a million who dont produce enough, can get supplements. The thyroid does slow down later in life. My dad was 315 at about 5'10. Huge all his life. With a nutritionists, he went down as far as 185. He didnt feel that good, and went back up to about 220-230. Anyone can be in any shape they want, it is that simple. |
