OK, I haven't read the whole thread but there are some things you can NOT do legally...

You can NOT ship it to an individual, period. It has to go to a FFL (ie dealer, gun shop etc)

However you can ship pieces to individuals...EXCEPT for the frame or reciever that has the serial number...see above for that piece.

I would recommend having an FFL ship it out for you too...just to be safe. You don't want to tangle with the BATF, they dont play fair and you'll spend your life's income trying to defend a case against them even if you didn't break a law. In their eyes you are guilty until proven innocent.

Most (I think all, but not sure) states you can do a person to person sale legally but the feds are trying to change that law and require background checks...but it has to be in person, still can't ship the gun.

So I haven't read all the posts yet......but thank you for the well wishes, and when I said he was a poser I mean in a good way Trying out dozens of different hobbies, careers, ladies etc

Here in MO I can sell to private parties no problem......But as far as other states, I wonder what kind of fee/commission it takes for one FFL to ship to another? Also, someone said overnight shipping is required? Why is that? Overnight is gonna be an automatic $50-60 or so.

buyer should have to pay for the FFL. I think it's usually around $50 for TN.

Just curious, what is it about those things that's so popular? Simplicity? Reliability? Plus it's gotta be the most mass-produced rifle ever made, so it can't be very rare

Depends if its an original or replica mass produced. Just cool guns. SKS's are many but funs to shoot.

the .22 rifle should be an easy sale. there are always guys looking for bolt 22's for their kid. took me quite a while to find one for my son. I noticed there are a couple guys always on the armslist site looking for them.
hit that armslist site for your state and you can probably find guys looking for everyone of those guns you have. DON'T HAVE THEM COME TO YOUR HOUSE TO LOOK THOUGH. just my opinion.
ffl will cost 10 - 60 for you as seller and then 10 - 60 for the buyer to recieve it.
you're better off going the locaL sale route or just dump them on a dealer for the less headache route.
I have sold quite a few to Gander Mountain. they give a fair price all things considered. I've done some private sales as well. I usually just get a bill of sale with purchaser name and addy. just in case.

Yep. The norm is for the buyer to pay for FFL transfer fees - comes with the territory.

I don't know, but my guess is they keep a better eye on overnight packages and they are probably the least likely to be lost. It also helps that, unless someone is an FFL, there are no other options for shipping.

Concerning the FFL, if you are able to ship the gun yourself to their FFL you wouldn't pay that FFL fee. On the other hand, if you are using an FFL ship to theirs I would think you would be on the hook for the fee for the FFL on your end. I could be wrong on that though. Maybe someone with more experience could clear it up.
