Come on seriously...the payout is so large because (just like the government touts) he CAN pay it.

It's bullshit...100%.

Let's try this, what if they were getting a divorce just because they couldn't get along. Should she still get a bunch of money? She still did the same amount of "work", she still put the same time in, has the same kids....now what?

What if she had been the one to cheat? Should she get nothing? What about the kids now? What if there weren't any kids, does she still "deserve" money?

He should take care of his kids, period, she can take care of herself... Heck, the child support would probably be more than all of us put together make anyway.
I agree it's ridiculous. I agree it's all vulgar. I mean, it's a gross amount of money that many of us can't even comprehend. It's a shit ton of zeros.

It's why they all have lawyers when entering into anything. I'm quite sure both of them are sitting back and letting someone else do their dirty work to make sure what happens is "fair."

Being his wife might not seem like work - but, with some of the bullshit she has to put up with [security, fans, media, etc.] it's probably not a walk in the park either. Does it deserve a million dollar payday? Probably not. But, it's now what this society dictates. HE knew what he was getting into. He probably won't cry over the loss of one zero... and might learn that he doesn't want to do this again.

"Suzanne M. Corona of Batavia, N.Y., became only the 13th person in the history of New York to be charged with adultery when she was arrested last Friday along with Justin Amend"

This just goes to show that marriage should only be recognized by the church. The government should only uphold civil unions where children are involved.

He needs to support his children., not her.

And yes...he is to blame....and the punishment should be handed down from the one that made it against the law in the first place.

Truth.

Models/actresses like her don't think a guy is "qualified" to date them unless he is loaded or famous. That is their first criteria when looking for a man.........Not whether they actually click with him.

I think I heard on ESPN that there was a prenup of a guarantee of 20 mil up to the first 10 yrs of marriage. The number went up from there for each year.

Or, as it seems to me, for each admitted case of cheating.

That seems to be the mentality here.........There was a thread about finding a wallet on the street, most people here said it was finders keepers and that they deserved to lose the money
