It was overhyped. Go through 3-4 cat 2's and 3's in one season or a cat 4 or 5 and then let us know what you think about Irene.

Overhyped? The news and weather forecasters made it sound like the entire east coast was going to get washed out to sea.

Grocery stores were packed with idiots buying up anything in sight. Why not plan ahead?

Other than losing electric for almost 20 hours, it really wasn't that bad.

Def coulda been worse, I lost power for a little over a Day...Work did to...And I lost everything in my store than needed to stay cold.

But I have seen some serious damage in towns near me, so for people to say "oh that was a weak storm" say that to the guy who has 3 feet of water rolling thru his living room right now.

It's a weak storm. Even weak storms cause damage.
