You sure did, about 5 posts after my post that asked more of question than declared anything. Then you brought up ambient temperature and lost any credibility.

I'm ready for some warmer weather already! I didn't make any street trips last year, just track days and rode to work a few times. Hope to get at least one mountain trip in this year. Definitely down for catching up though, just not Deal's Gap. That has to be the least fun place to ride anymore.

Depends on when you go... Me and the GF went and honestly were about the only people there. If you can go during the week, score! The thing about the Gap is that it's a great starting point and an easy/cheap place to stay.

we have plenty of other roads, and to be honest im so spoiled now i want to just sit and watch the idiots go by on the gap wait for about 7 pm when they retire and then ride... so much better that way

This! Heck, I enjoyed going the other way towards Wheelers personally.
